The students will be spending a majority of the week working on their timeline and political cartoons in class. The timeline includes 10 events in chronological order, with a description of each event, the point of view that the colonists had of the event, and the point of view that the British had of the event. This is to help them prepare for the upcoming debate and essay over the topic, "Were the colonists justified in rebelling against Great Britain?" They also need to create TWO political cartoons over the SAME event, one showing the colonists' point of the view and the other the British.
