    West Wildcats

    Homework Club will begin next week on Sept. 6th. Your student will be able to stay with TEAM WEST teachers on Tuesday and Thursday from 3-4 and then walk home or take the activity bus home. Your student can also stay for the all school homework club on Wed. which is held in the cafeteria.  During this after school time your student can work on and get help with homework, class activities, and/or concepts they may be struggling with. If your students does not have internet access in the evening or is not currently taking their laptop home this is also a good time for them to complete tasks and assignments that require the internet or laptop.

    Michael Winkler

    Michael is the SUPER STUDENT for Team West for the month of March! Michael has really grown this year into a SUPER student.

    He is respectful, responsible and engaged each day. Michael works hard at acquiring new knowledge and skills. He really enjoys

    helping other students gain that same knowledge by helping and supporting them. Michael has really grown into a positive,

    motivated leader. Rock Star Job Michael!

    Angel Hale

    Angel Hale is the SUPER STUDENT for Team West for the month of December!!

    Congratulations Angel in being selected as the SUPER STUDENT for Team West for the month of December.

    Angel is such a conscientious student. She consistently completes her school work and homework

    and gives her best effort each and everyday. Angel has a positive attitude and stands out as an academic leader

    and studious student on Team West. Angel is kind hearted and goes above and beyond!  Magnificent Job Angel!!

    Rihanna Thomas

    Rihanna has been selected as the Super Student for the month of October for Team West.

    She is awesome about turning in her homework assignments.

    Well done Rihanna! Rihanna really has a positive attitude about learning and growing.

    She really strives to complete work independently and makes a conscious effort to complete and correct her assignments.

    Rihanna really takes pride in her school work and demonstrates this on a daily basis.

    Katelyn Dalton

    Team West nominates Katelyn Dalton for Super Student for September.

    Katelyn is an awesome student, she displays our pirate goals of being respectful, engaged and involved.

    Katelyn is very positive in her approach and response to teachers and peers.

    She always has a smile and gives her best effort each and everyday.

    Nya Dean

    Team West nominates Nya Dean for Super Student for August.

    Nya has started off to a great start so far this year. Nya has been working

    VERY hard this year trying stay on top of assignments, reading, asking

    questions when confused, and being prepared for class.

    We would like to thank Nya for being so super!

  • TEAM WEST GEOGRAPHY & SPELLING BEE WINNNERS!!

    Congratulations to Michael Winkler!! Michael is our Geography Bee winner for team West. Michael will represent our team at the school Geography Bee on January 14th at 9:10 during our school assembly. The first-runner up is Antuan Cooper. If for any reason Michael is unable to compete, Antuan will take his place. Congratulations to both gentlemen.
    Congratulations to Nya Dean!! She is our Spelling Bee winner for team West. Nya will represent our team at the school Spelling Bee on January 13th at 3:05 in the school library. Way to go Nya!! The  first runner-up was Kayla Blanche-Releford. Nice job Kayla! If for any reason Nya is unable to compete in the Spelling Bee, Kayla will take her place.
  • Extended Days

    Don't forget extended learning days are on Tuesday and Thursday. Activity buses are available to transport the students home from school. Students will have consequences if they do not stay after school without proper documentation. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Ms. Divine or Mrs. Easton.

  • Meet the Teachers

    Mathematics and Science with Ms. Divine:

     

    This is Ms. Divine’s first year of teaching and she could not be more excited to spend it with this group of students. She graduated from Lindenwood University with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and is an alumnus of Pattonville High School. Ms. Divine loves to travel, her latest trip was to Okinawa, Japan where she spent two weeks. She also enjoys spending time with her loved ones, helping out in the community, arts & crafts and shopping. Ms. Divine hopes that when this year is over, because it will fly by, that she has positively impacted each student. She wants all of her students to know that they can do anything they put their minds too, they just cannot be afraid of hard work. She looks forward to her students growing and learning from one another!

     


    English Language Arts and Social Studies with Mrs. Easton:

     

    Mrs. Easton has had the privilege of working with kiddos for many years in lots of different places including Maryland, Virginia, California, Illinois, Spain, and of course Missouri. She is a graduate of Pattonville Public Schools having attended Pattonville Kindergarten through 12th grade. Mrs. Easton has an associate degree in Early Childhood Education, a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services Counseling, a Master’s degree in Education and Special Education, and a Specialist degree in Literacy and Educational Leadership. In her free time she enjoys reading, swimming, traveling and most importantly spending time with her family. Mrs. Easton is very excited about this school year and watching her students grow and develop as citizens, learners and thinkers!
